Hey there. I've been into game making since about 2008, but it wasn't until 2014 I was able to complete my first ever game! The game was started and finished in a single week for a contest. In one week I was able to do what I struggled with for 6 years. 6 WHOLE YEARS. HILARIOUS ISN'T IT.

Chrono Trigger gets the Re-Release Treatment

*Points to the "Square-enix, No more creative" games topic*... And thus, yet another forseen remake emerges. Not that I'm complaining, I have never played Chrono Trigger before, so it's like a brand new game to me!

I'm really interested to find out why everyone thinks it's so amazing. Well if it comes to Europe that is...

The whole Night/Day concept is essential to battles. At night, Melee Attack Accuracy decreases, however Aggression increases at a faster pace. All in all if you fight at night your Chaos Bar will increase faster than at day, while Melee Accuracy will do the same. What is really important is the use of Akuma in battle. These Demon are only able to fight at night, and when night comes their stats and Aggression reaches and all time high. Basically Players will have to use Tactics when going into the "Ruins" to hunt Akuma.


That's a really cool idea Ashramaru, Kinda reminds me of Dragon Quest 8, where Monsters are stronger etc at night. I haven't seen an RM game do anything like this \o/

@Sion: I thought your game was called Chaos Generations? Anyway, that fit really well there (just lose the extra !). Your Custom Message box is nice too, but if i'm being totally honest I don't see the point of them, they have the exact same function as a standard one.

@Darken: Yup, i'm up for this every week, creating maps is the best part of making a game. I'm alway makin 'em, don't even use them sometimes. Practice will make me better than Tau perfect.

So what will change this time? I'm first...hoping that this post doesn't lead to immediate ban, because I don't think people on an another forum can ban something for what the guy did on another forum. Second...the font will now be the default one this board uses. (No more weird font, except this one! ^^)

Third, I'm keeping screenies to a minimum, until I have something big, I will show it.

Fourth...the ME blog is history...gone! It's really holding me back working on these things.

Now you're just being stupid, use whichever font you want, if you want to post screenshots, then post 'em. All you get here is praise. Everytime someone mentions GW it sounds like such a stupid place.

I don't actually know who your are tbh, But I guess i'll get to know you. See ya around the site. ;D

File Size of RPG's?

There's a limit of around 200MB unless I really like the sound of it, or its been recommended by a few people. I think 190MB was the highest RM download I've ever done so far and it was only a demo that didn't include any MP3's. Yikes.

Some people go "OMG 50MB, this better be good!" but I don't consider that big at all, unless you have dial-up I guess.
